Beth's Terrific Looking Cakes
Beth from Norfolk, UK, sent in these four great cakes. Beth you have a real talent for making a cake look absolutely delicious. Make me a dairy free one and I might even come to your house and eat the whole darn thing!
Spiral Cake I am so impressed with this spiral, if I tried that it would be a complete mess!
Dotty Cake I am slightly suspicious that Beth opened a bumper pack of Muller Fruit Corners to get the topping for this cake, what do you think?
Yum Yum Cake Yum! I have nothing to add to that - simply Yum!
Thanks Beth, you made my day.
Matthew's Star Wars Cake
Matthew from Norfolk, UK, sent in this Star Wars Christmas cake, he said "I decorated the cake, and my girlfriend hung the presents on their light sabres."
What great cake, I love it! Dun dun dun dun-da-dun dun-da-dun....wow! Thanks Matt.
Lauren's Cake
Lauren sent me this picture, she says:
"I made this for my daughter's christening"
What a pretty cake, I can see you took a lot of trouble, thanks for sending it in Lauren!
Dolly Cake
Wendy from Lancashire, UK, sent me this picture, she says:
"This is the cake I did for my grand daughter's Christening.
She loved it!
I had only returned from holiday 3 days before, but had all the
flowers made and the body of the doll covered, so it was an easy job to
cover the cake and add the skirt and flower arrangement at the last
minute."
That's a very pretty cake and wow, what a cute grand daughter, she looks just like a doll herself! Thank you Wendy, for sending them in.
Sean's Cake
"The recipe for this Dundee cake is taken from
'Cakes, Pastries and Bread by Jennie Reekie' and is part of the St Michael Cookery
Library published in 1977. I used a 7 inch (18cm) cake tin.
Cooking time is 2 1/2 hrs. For added oomph, once cooled, use a skewer to poke a few holes in the top of the cake and then apply a capful of rum or brandy. Store in a tin for a week and then apply another capful."
Sean
Chloe's Cakes
Here are a couple of truly delicious looking cakes, prepared just for eating. If you are browsing for ideas for a Sunday teatime treat, I am sure you would have to agree, these look scrumptious! (and yes, I know no-one uses that word any more, ever, but it does fit!)
Well, all I have to say is 'MMMMMM chocolate', you know what I mean!
Kendra's Cake
"Here is a picture of my daughter's graduation cake. It has a volleyball on
it." Stacie.
That's a really nice looking cake Stacie, and congratulations to Kendra on her graduation!
Sharon's Cakes
Sharon sent in this Bad Girl Cake. This is a birthday cake for her 12 year old niece. Looks yummy doesn't it! Thanks Sharon, for sending it in.
Sharon also sent in this fantastic Fear Factor cake. Doesn't it look great!
